Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide when requesting or purchasing a review, such as your name, email address, project type, estimated budget, message, and the construction documents you submit for review.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic, page usage, review-request submissions, and visits to our Stripe checkout pages. Google may process device, browser, approximate location, referral, and interaction information under its own privacy terms. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, construction documents, or payment details to Google Analytics.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, process purchases, complete requested document reviews, deliver written findings, provide email-based support, maintain business records, prevent misuse, and improve the service.
Service providers
We use third-party providers to support website hosting, analytics, form delivery, email, payment processing, and secure document handling. Payment information is processed by Stripe and is not stored directly by Second Opinion Construction. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Document confidentiality
Customer documents and project details are used to provide the requested service. We do not sell personal information or share customer documents with contractors or referral partners for marketing purposes.
Retention and security
We retain information only as reasonably needed for service delivery, support, recordkeeping, dispute prevention, and legal obligations. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so customers should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to recordkeeping and legal requirements, by emailing hello@secondopinionbuild.com.
